For my Capstone project in 2020, I was given a brief from Kayo Sports to revamp their email communications and make them more fun, engaging, personalised and lighter in tone. To do this, I decided to use analytics that Kayo Sports can see from customers, which are what they have watched, how long they have watched for, what sports they watch and what their favourite teams/sports are, and then use these to give customers a fortnightly run down of their account. Each fortnight customers are able to see how long they watched for, what sports they watched, what their longest stream was and then get given a ‘Kayo Fan-Type’ badge based on the round up of their account over the past two weeks. Information like when the customers marked favourite teams are playing next along with quick links to Kayo help pages are also included to make the customers experience with Kayo as seamless as possible.
