A second brief that I got from Kayo Sports for my 2020 Capstone project involved using social media to get more people watching Rugby within Australia. Less and less people are watching Rugby in Aus and with ample Rugby content on Kayo, there is an opportunity to get more people to watch it.

To respond to the brief, I created a game called the Kayo Kalculator which is played through a Facebook Chat Bot. How it works is the customer messages the Kayo Kalculator chat bot on Facebook with the up coming NRL finals game and the chat bot replies with key stats on the two teams, a direct link to the game and then a prediction for the game. From here, if the calculated prediction loses and you watch the game, then you win a free week on Kayo Sports. An example of what the chat would look like can be seen to the right.

Whilst the Facebook Chat Bot is the main use of social media, the Kayo Kalculator game will also be advertised throughout other forms of social media such as Instagram. An example of what the Instagram post would look like is to the right.
